Our Mission
Vision Statement
At Kirk O’Cliff Presbyterian Church, we are called to be God’s light to the world through our caring, serving, and sharing Christ’s Love as we grow in faith.
Mission Statement
We celebrate Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
We provide a church home and nurturing Christian relationships through which our faith is demonstrated.
We reach out in love through programs that include music, Sunday School, youth activities, missions, small group ministries.
We seek to grow in faith through worship, study, stewardship, and by utilizing the many and varied talents with which we are blessed.
We provide prayer, pastoral care, and compassionate support through the ministry of our pastor, session and members of the congregation.
We actively invite the community to participate in our ministry and fellowship and ultimately extend our efforts to the world through the larger church.
We work to carry out all our ministries with “energy, intelligence, imagination, and love” relying on God’s grace and blessing as we seek to accomplish our mission.
The Kirk O'Cliff Creed
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Who spoke all creation into being in an act of love, Who called Abraham out of Haran To be a blessing to all people, And sent Jesus Christ to live and die as one of us, To pay the price for our sin, And reconcile us to the God and Father of all. After His Death and Resurrection, The Risen Lord charged the church universal with a mighty task: to make disciples of all nations. We therefore believe that each househhold of God Is blessed with a unique and sacred calling By which it may live out that Great Commission. At Kirk O'Cliff, we believe that we are called To be a Beacon Of God's Love, so that someday, The whole community may reflect God's love and peace. Through prayerful discernment And with the power of the Holy Spirit, We believe we will be led to engage in activities That will make a difference, By living our values of caring, commitment, leadership, Spirituality, and tolerance. In Jesus' name we pray. AMEN. |
